Telugu Superstar Nagarjuna Brings Home A Brand New Kia EV6 - Joins Electric Revolution

Nagarjuna is one of the first pan-Indian superstars in our country. He has been dominating the Telugu Industry for decades now. Known for his exceptional acting and action skills, the veteran actor, Nagarjuna, has always been under the spotlight. The action king recently made headlines by buying an EV.

The veteran actor took delivery of a brand new Kia EV6, the flagship offering of the carmaker. The car was delivered to his residence, and pictures of the delivery were shared on social media by the dealership.

Nagarjuna and his wife, Amala Akkineni, were seen taking delivery of their new Kia EV6 in the picture shared by the dealer, captioned, "A warm congratulations to Nagarjuna Garu and Amala Garu on their new Kia EV6! You've made a smart and sustainable choice for the future of mobility."

Kia's flagship all-electric crossover, EV6, is the only electric car the carmaker offers in the Indian market. The EV6 has been imported as a Completely Built Unit (CBU). Upon launch, the car received an overwhelming response and had registered over 355 bookings.

In India, Kia offers the EV6 in two variants and has a single and dual-motor setup. The car houses a 77.4kWh lithium-ion battery pack that powers the permanent magnet synchronous motor. The single-motor rear-wheel drive trim can produce 226bhp and 350Nm of torque.

The dual-motor all-wheel drive trim produces 321bhp and 605Nm of torque. Kia claims a maximum range of 528km. EV6 supports ultra-fast charging, adding 100km of range in just 4.5 minutes. It can be recharged from 10 to 80 per cent in 18 minutes using a 350 kW fast charger.

The Kia EV6 has a futuristic design approach; its sleek and aerodynamic body shape has a strong road presence. Its front fascia boasts a unique tiger-nose grille accompanied by slender LED headlights. The body lines go to the rear side and have frameless doors and flush handles.

The Interior of the Kia EV6 is wrapped in an all-black design with black suede seats and vegan leather accents. Kia offers various premium features, like 64-color ambient lighting, an electric sunroof, ventilated front seats, a vegan leather-wrapped tilt and telescopic steering wheel, and an anti-glare rearview mirror.

Additionally, features like two 12.3-inch curved screen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, dual-zone climate control, wireless charger, multiple drive modes, push-button start/stop, and a 10-way adjustable driver seat with a memory function.

EV6 also features paddle shifters for regenerative braking, connected car capabilities, an electronic parking brake with an auto-hold function, LED headlamps with an adaptive driving beam, Shift by wire, and rain-sensing wipers.

According to Kia, it takes just 3.5 seconds for the EV6 to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h. The Kia EV6 has a starting price of Rs 60.95 lakh (ex-showroom - Delhi).
