Mahindra Supro CNG Duo Launched At Rs 6.32 Lakh - 750kg Payload, 23.35km/kg Mileage
Indian automaker Mahindra has launched the Supro CNG Duo at an introductory price of Rs 6.32 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Mahindra Supro CNG Duo is the firm's first dual-fuel small commercial vehicle.
The all-new Mahindra Supro CNG Duo brings a host of features that Mahindra hopes will offer customers superior performance with maximum profits.
Powering the Mahindra Supro CNG Duo is a 909cc engine that can run and start on both petrol and CNG. The engine produces 26.8bhp and 60Nm of torque which is sent to the front wheels via a 4-speed manual gearbox. The engine returns a mileage of 23.35km/kg.
The Mahindra Supro CNG Duo sports two CNG tanks that can hold a combined 75 litres of CNG. In addition to the CNG tanks, the Supro CNG Duo also features a 5-litre storage tank for petrol. In all, the Supro CNG Duo delivers a claimed range of 325 kilometres with its dual-fuel setup.
The Supro CNG Duo from Mahindra can also carry some heavy loads. thanks to a payload rating of 750 kilogrammes. The Supro Duo CNG small commercial vehicle drives along on 12-inch steel wheels shod with 145 R12, 8PR tyres and offers 158mm of ground clearance.
The Supro CNG Duo comes packed with an array of features including the aforementioned ability to start while running on CNG, which is an industry first for the segment.
Other features include seamless shifting between fuel types thanks to a new ECU along with intelligent CNG leak detection that adds an additional layer of safety for those behind the wheel. The Supro CNG Duo also comes equipped with a fire extinguisher in case of an emergency.
The Mahindra Supro CNG Duo comes with a class-leading warranty of 3 years/80,000 km (whichever comes earlier). The Supro CNG Duo is offered in two colour options - Diamond White and Deep Warm Blue.
