Hero HF Deluxe Vs Honda Shine 100 – Quick Comparison
Hero MotoCorp recently launched the updated Hero HF Deluxe motorcycle in India. This motorcycle directly competes against the Honda Shine 100 and here's a quick comparison between these two motorcycles.
Price
Honda has aggressively priced the new Honda Shine 100 motorcycle in India with a price tag of Rs 64,900 (ex-showroom). In comparison, the new Hero HF Deluxe is even more affordable with a starting price of just Rs 60,760 (ex-showroom).
Engine
The Honda Shine 100 motorcycle is powered by an all-new 99.7cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine. This engine puts out a respectable 7.5bhp and 8.05Nm of peak torque. Furthermore, this engine comes with a 4-speed gearbox.
On the other hand, the Hero HF Deluxe is powered by a 97.2cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine with 7.9bhp and 8.05Nm of peak torque. This model also comes with a 4-speed gearbox.
Dimensions
The Honda Shine 100 motorcycle measures 1,955mm long, 754mm wide, and 1,050mm tall. On the other hand, the wheelbase of the Honda Shine 100 motorcycle measures 1,245mm long.
In comparison, the newly launched Hero HF Deluxe motorcycle measures 10mm longer, 34mm narrower, 5mm shorter and sports a wheelbase that is also 10mm shorter than Honda Shine 100.
Features
In terms of features, the newly launched Honda Shine 100 sports features such as a side-stand alert, combined braking system (CBS), alloy wheels and halogen lighting. The Hero HF Deluxe also comes similarly equipped but features USB charging port as well.
Others
The Honda Shine 100 seat is positioned at a height of 786mm and the motorcycle weighs just 99 kilogrammes. On the other, the Hero HF Deluxe seat is set at a height of 805mm and the motorcycle weighs 11 kilogrammes more.
Thoughts About The New Honda Shine 100 & Hero HF Deluxe
Though the Hero HF Deluxe turns out to be a more affordable motorcycle with a lower starting price point, the Honda Shine 100 offers better value for money with its electric start feature. In comparison, the HF Deluxe motorcycle with an electric starter is Rs 2,652 more expensive.
