Ferrari LaFerrari Successor Spied Testing - Sports Massive Spoiler

Ferrari's next-generation hypercar has been spied testing ahead of its debut in 2024. The new hypercar will follow the likes of the 288 GTO, F40, F50, Enzo and the LaFerrari.

The next-gen Ferrari Hypercar, which is said to be internally referred to as the F250, is expected to make its debut in May of 2024 as per the timeline leaked on a French forum last year.

The LaFerrari hypercar successor's prototype was caught testing by the Varryx on Youtube and gives us a glimpse at what this new halo car from Maranello could look like when it hits the stage in 2024.

The new Ferrari hypercar's prototype though heavily camouflaged gives us a good glimpse at the upcoming hypercar's design. The front end is rather aggressive with three large air intakes on the front bumper which also features a splitter element that sits quite low to the road.

The bonnet is a ducted unit that is expected to help with the aero profile and it sits between the bulging wheelarches of the upcoming hypercar that plays host to Ferrari 296-style headlights. The ducted bonnet also plays host to a warning sticker that hints at the electrified powertrain of the next-gen Ferrari hypercar.

When viewed from the side, we can see just how tiny the new hypercar's cabin will be when it hits the streets next year. The tiny cabin also shows off just how low-slung the new hypercar will be and there is another electricity warning sticker next to the door of the prototype.

The rear section of the upcoming Ferrari hypercar test mule is where you see quite a lot of action. The upcoming hypercar sports a truly massive rear wing. The test mule also sports taillights from the Ferrari SF90 Stradale along with two high-mounted tailpipes and a large diffuser that will hopefully help keep the upcoming hypercar glued to the ground.

Exact details about the powertrain are still scarce many purists will be hoping it carries forward the LaFerrari hybrid V12 powertrain to a whole new level of excitement.

However, there are some reports doing the rounds that Ferrari could instead be going down the route of the SF90 for the hypercar which could mean that the Ferrari hypercar will be the first of the lineup to sport a V8 since the iconic F40. If Ferrari does go down this route, expect the Maranello outfit to turn the turbo hybrid powertrain up to 11 to help the hypercar keep the SF90 and any update to it at bay.

The next-gen Ferrari hypercar is expected to be limited to just 599 units in its coupe guise. The convertible will be even more limited with only 199 expected to leave Maranello's stables. The 'XX' track-only version will be the rarest of the lot and is expected to be limited to just 30 units.

Thoughts About Ferrari's Next-Gen Hypercar

Ferrari's next-gen hypercar is set to once again ignite a hypercar war when it arrives next much like its predecessor the LaFerrari did when it hit the roads in 2013. So will we have another hypercar holy trinity? Only time will tell...
