2023 Maruti Suzuki Tour S Launched In india - Prices Start At Rs 6.51 Lakhs
Maruti Suzuki, the nation's largest carmaker has launched the Tour S, the fleet-only version of the Dzire compact sedan in India. Prices for the 2023 Maruti Suzuki Tour S start at Rs 6.51 lakh, ex-showroom.
The 2023 Maruti Suzuki Tour S is offered in two trim levels for the taxi market in India - Std (O) and Std (O) CNG. While the petrol-powered Tour S Std (O) variant is priced at Rs 6.51 lakh, the CNG version commands a price tag of Rs 7.36 lakh (all prices mentioned are ex-showroom).
The all-new 2023 Tour S is powered by Maruti Suzuki's K Series 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 89bhp at 6,000rpm and 113Nm of peak torque at 4,400rpm. In CNG guise, the Tour S' engine output drops to 76bhp at 6,000rpm and 98.5Nm of peak torque at 4,300rpm.
The engine is paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox that sends power to the front wheels. In petrol guise, the new 2023 Tour S returns a mileage of 23.15km/l while the CNG version which is said to be 21 per cent more efficient returns a mileage of 32.12km/kg.
The all-new Maruti Suzuki Tour S looks exactly like the regular Dzire sedan except for the fact that the fleet version of the sedan rides on steel wheels. The Tour S gets the blacked-out treatment for the mirror caps for the ORVMs and the door handles. Also seen is the Tour S badge at the rear which replaces the Dzir badge found in the regular version of the sedan.
The new Maruti Suzuki Tour S comes packed with features like LED taillights and safety tech that includes the likes of dual airbags, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), anti-lock braking system (ABS) with electronic brakeforce distribution (EBD) and brake assist (BA), speed limiter and reverse parking sensors.
Speaking about the launch of the new Tour S, Shashank Srivastava, Senior Executive Officer (Marketing and Sales), Maruti Suzuki India Limited, said, "The All-new Tour S with modern design, new-age safety features, greater practicality, and Advanced 1.2L K-Series Dual Jet, Dual VVT engine is a revolutionary model for the commercial sedan segment. We are confident of exceeding the expectations of our commercial segment customers once again, as we continue to deliver the perfect sedan experience with the All-new Tour S."
